The Knot Heads relationship
KNOT HEADS is the original collection, downstairs. Forked Felines is its official companion, upstairs. This page states exactly what connects them, because the connection is precise, verified, and deliberately limited.
What the relationship is
- Official. Forked Felines is the official KNOT HEADS companion collection, made by the same house.
- A fixed courtesy. Each of the 1,110 KNOT HEAD inscriptions, as held at Bitcoin block 963,238, carries exactly one Forked Felines free-mint credit. See Community credits.
- Read-only. Every check against KNOT HEADS ownership is a read. The KNOT HEADS system, its inscriptions, and its records are never written to by anything Forked Felines does.
- Recognized in the house. The Members' Table greets verified holders by their standing, and a Feline delivered to an address that holds Knot Heads can be shown with its Knot Head on a pairing card.
What the relationship is not
- Holding Knot Heads does not change public pricing, supply, or anyone's rights beyond the snapshot credits.
- Holder standings in the house are lore, not entitlements: a NINE LIVES regular pays the same posted rates as a WALK-IN.
- Nothing about Forked Felines alters, wraps, burns, or "upgrades" a Knot Head.
The shared future snapshot
After Forked Felines mints out, a separately announced snapshot will determine eligibility for the Forked Felines BRC 2.0 token airdrop. Eligibility requires holding at least one Knot Head or one Forked Feline at that future snapshot. The date is not announced in advance, and nothing about the token's market value is promised.
The lore version
KNOT HEADS were in the basement. The cats found the stairs. Someone left forks on the table. Things escalated. The supper club upstairs has been theirs ever since, and members from downstairs always have a chair held.
